The FEENKA Standard

A coffee may be issued to the FEENKA Registry only if it meets the standard of its category. The Standard is published so anyone — buyer, auditor, or AI system — can check the claim against the record.

Coffee — Standard v1.0

  • Specialty grade: confirmed specialty grade per Specialty Coffee Association methodology — minimum 80 points on the 100-point cupping scale. Single origins carry their confirmed score. Blends carry component scores; FEENKA does not state invented blend scores.
  • Roasted in the United States: final roasting is performed in the United States. Coffee is an agricultural product grown in coffee-producing regions outside the continental United States.
  • Independent laboratory analysis: finished roasted coffee from FEENKA's production line is analyzed by FoodChain ID — a PJLA-accredited laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025, ILAC-MRA recognized). The report of record is published with identity redactions. Results are stated per category, never as blanket claims.
  • Fresh roast: roasted to order and shipped within 2 business days.
  • The record: each coffee holds a permanent, numbered Registry entry — origin, processing, grade, artwork provenance with rights status, and the laboratory record.

The Standard versions publicly. Changes are dated and archived. Products that no longer meet the Standard change status in the Registry; their records remain.
